History and medal information - British Gulf War Medal awarded to the armed forces during the desert campaign of 1990-1991 to the 4th & 7th Armoured Brigades. Around 33,000 British men/women were deployed but only about 7,700 combatant troops received the bar (16th Jan-28th Feb 1991.
