Ribbon Colours - A broad Green central band bordered by thin Red stripes flanked by a Dark Blue stripe (left) and Light Blue stripe (right) with Yellow edges.

Item - Genuine Miniature Medal in mint condition with ribbon. Made in the UK.

History and medal information - British Cadet forces Medal. This medal is awarded to commissioned officers and adult NCO'S (Non Commissioned Officers) for 12 years service in the Cadet forces Army, Air or Sea cadets. A Bar is awarded for each additional 8 years. This is a medal not seen by most collectors and the Full size medal is worth at least £80.00 as their are not many Instructors have it. The reverse has a hand holding aloft the torch of learning.
